Ordering & Production
All Shore Studios pieces are made to order at our London studio.
Lead times provided on product pages, quotes, or invoices are estimates only based on current production capacity and recent turnaround times. As each piece is handmade, timelines may vary and are not guaranteed.
Production lead times begin only once:
- Payment (deposit or full payment) has been received
- All order details, specifications, and drawings have been fully approved
Lead times may adjust depending on production volume, material availability, and workshop capacity. During particularly busy periods, timelines may extend beyond initial estimates.
We occasionally hold limited stock of select items. Availability will be noted on product pages or can be confirmed upon request.
Due to the handmade nature of our work, each piece will have its own unique character. Subtle variations in pattern, color, and tonal distribution are inherent to our process and form part of the intended design language.
Rush Orders
Where a shorter timeline is requested, we may agree to prioritize an order on a best-efforts basis. However, expedited or rush timelines are not guaranteed, and delays may still occur due to production constraints or material availability.
Shipping
We ship worldwide.
As all pieces are made to order, please allow estimated production lead times in addition to transit time, which will vary depending on shipment size, destination, and shipping method.
Smaller items are typically shipped via courier (DHL, UPS, or FedEx). Larger pieces and furniture are shipped via freight as standard.
If you have specific shipping requirements or would prefer to use your own shipping provider, please get in touch prior to dispatch to discuss options.
Shipping costs (where applicable), taxes, and duties are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed. International orders may be subject to import duties or customs fees, which are payable by the recipient.
Local collection from our London studio may be arranged by appointment.
Delays & Liability
All delivery and completion dates are estimates only.
Shore Studios is not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Material shortages or supplier delays
- Shipping or transportation disruptions
- Production constraints or labor shortages
- Customs delays or import restrictions
- Acts of government, civil unrest, or natural events
In such cases, production timelines may be extended as reasonably required.
Returns & Exchanges
As all pieces are made to order, returns and exchanges are not accepted except in the case of manufacturing defects or shipping damage.
Any damage must be reported within 72 hours of delivery. Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt.
To submit a claim:
- Retain all packaging materials
- Photograph the packaging, product, and damage
- Notify both Shore Studios and the carrier to initiate an inspection
Approved claims may result in repair, replacement, or exchange at our discretion.

Our products are made from high-performance silicone cord with excellent resistance to UV, ozone, and weathering. While highly durable, prolonged or extreme exposure may affect color over time.
Due to their thickness and cushioning, our rugs may present a trip hazard in certain environments. Placement should be carefully considered.
Shore Studios cannot be held liable for accidents or injuries resulting from use of our products.
In the event of minor damage (such as a cut or break in the cord), we can provide a repair kit with all necessary materials and instructions.
Wholesale & Trade
Wholesale and trade opportunities are available to selected partners.
Applications will be considered based on alignment, current capacity, and project timelines. Trade discounts are available for architects and designers upon request.
All wholesale and trade orders are final and non-returnable.
Custom Work & Commissions
We welcome custom projects and collaborations.
Each request is reviewed based on feasibility, compatibility, and current workload.
Privacy
We do not store credit card details or share customer information with third parties.
Information provided at checkout (name, address, contact details) is used solely to process and fulfill your order.
